- Preferential bidding (PBS). Bid lines have at least 10 calendar days off a month; reserve lines have 12 fixed days off (13 in 31-day months), including one block of at least 4 days (Section 15). Lines are worth at least 65 pay hours.
- Allowances
- Per diem for every hour away from base: $2.85 domestic and $3.35 international from Aug 2023, raised each 1 January in line with US government meal rates (Section 7.B). International override per hour flown: $6.50 captain, $4.50 first officer; narrowbody long-haul override (Europe, South America, Hawaii) $8 captain, $6 first officer (Section 3.D). Profit sharing: 10% of AAG pre-tax earnings up to $2.5B plus 20% above, shared by eligible earnings (Section 3.G).
- Benefits
- Company pays 18% of eligible pay into the pilots' 401(k) from 2 May 2026 (Supplement F). Vacation: 21 days for 1–5 years of service, rising a day a year to 31 days at 15 years, and 35 days at 19 years from the 2026/27 vacation year (Section 9). Sick leave builds up 5 hours a month (Section 10). Agreement amendable from 1 Aug 2027 (Section 26).
