Part of the Sono Trinity Group group

Renamed from T'way Air to Trinity Airways in 2026 after Daemyung Sono (now Sono Trinity Group, 46% from Feb 2025) took control; shareholders approved in March 2026 and the new livery debuted in Sept 2026. In Jan 2026 the airline ran open-ended recruitment of experienced A330 first officers (1,000 h airline time, prior FO experience) and in June-July 2026 hired ab-initio B737 first officers (250 h, closing 6 Jul 2026, start Nov 2026). Both via its own careers site; no live posting was viewed.

No captain or first-officer pay figure was found in an airline, union, agency or press source. SAT Economy (27 Jun 2025): the pilots' union said a planned 5% raise for 2025 was cut to 2.5% around the Sono takeover (the company said this was decided before the change of control), and the union complained of about 7 crew sets per aircraft versus the 8-10 it considers safe. Bizwatch (Jun 2023): all staff got 13% in Feb 2023; all-employee average pay about KRW 41 million in 2022 (not pilot-specific). Aju News (Jul 2024) listed T'way as one of the LCCs that hired pilots away from Jeju Air with higher pay. DART business-report flight-crew averages could not be retrieved. Second search pass (Nov 2026) still found no pilot-specific figure. For context only: Korea Financial News (2 Apr 2026) wrote that T'way corrected its 2025 business report, cutting the stated all-employee average pay from KRW 137 million to KRW 69 million (2024: 65 million); this is a company-wide average, not pilot pay.
