No published pilot pay scale. Captain: press, July 2024, after the spontaneous pilot strike: Puterea.ro quotes the ACAR president saying a TAROM captain earned about EUR 5,000 a month in total (base about EUR 2,000 plus allowances and per diems), rising to about EUR 6,500 after a EUR 1,500 increase; cpt_min = before, cpt_max = after that deal. First officer: Capital.ro (8 Jul 2024), citing unnamed sources, puts TAROM copilots at EUR 2,000-3,000 a month (gross/net not stated); these are pre-settlement figures. Settlement: Europa Libera and Euronews (9 Jul 2024) give a EUR 500 net monthly raise for every captain and copilot from Oct 2024 (paid in lei), with a further EUR 1,000 in 2025 depending on the budget and restructuring plan; changes were to go into individual employment contracts by addendum, not a collective agreement. Background: DCNews (20 Aug 2022) printed the negotiated base-salary grid from a Nov 2017 TAROM document, in RON (period and gross/net not stated): copilot RON 9,000-11,300 (ATR to B737, junior to over 3 years), captain RON 11,600-14,600, line captain up to RON 15,150; trainee/supervised copilots RON 4,000-4,500. Figures date from 2017-2024; no newer data found.

- Per the July 2024 settlement (press): domestic per diem raised to RON 750 for captains (from 500) and RON 500 for first officers (from 280); external per diem raised to EUR 240 for captains (from 180) and EUR 180 for first officers (from 120), effective 1 Sept 2024. Monthly averages quoted: ATR crews about 15 domestic flights, B737 crews about 10 external flights. Euronews (9 Jul 2024) gives the negotiated external per diem as EUR 240 for captains and EUR 200 for copilots, which differs from the EUR 180 FO figure in other press.
