ATR 42/72 First Officer, monthly base pay

First officer
EUR 1,404–2,263 a month
about €17–27k a year
Captain
Not published

No pilot pay scale is published openly. The pilots' collective agreement dates from 2006 and was still under renegotiation with SEPLA in late 2025 (Forbes, Oct 2025). FO figures are ATR monthly gross base pay from crowd-sourced pages (PilotJobsNetwork, updated Jul 2025; ReadyForTakeoff gives about 1,400-2,260). On top of base, pilots earn per-flight-hour pay: about EUR 15/h (ATR FO), 30/h (B737 FO), 50/h (ATR CPT), 70/h (B737 CPT). ReadyForTakeoff gives B737 FO base about EUR 2,000-3,500/month. Captain base pay is only given as net (about EUR 2,200 ATR, 2,800 B737 after tax, Mar 2025), so it is left out of this gross object; one entry puts top captain earnings near EUR 8,000/month (Nov 2023). In 2013-2014 SEPLA criticised the 2006 agreement, whose lowest copilot level was EUR 842 gross/month for ATR/Embraer crews.
