Hiring status unknown

Part of the Schauinsland-Reisen (85%) group

A BER-based A320 First Officer advert (2-year renewable contract, type rating trained) is listed as closed on PilotsGlobal; no current pilot advert found on Sundair's own site, whose careers page could not be loaded. Pay

Unofficial figures. Not from an agreement or the airline: collected from pilot forums, salary sites and other public sources. Treat them as indicative.

First officer
EUR 3,150–4,650 a month
about €38–56k a year
Captain
EUR 5,075–8,875 a month
about €61–106k a year

No collective agreement with Vereinigung Cockpit; pay set by company policy and individual contracts. Figures are approximate monthly gross base pay from crowd-sourced data compiled by ReadyForTakeoff (article dated 3 Jul 2026, some entries several years old): FO G1 about 3,150 up to senior FO about 4,400-4,650; Captain G1 about 5,075 up to senior captain about 8,875. Annual estimates there: FO 40,000-66,000, Captain 68,000-125,000. Block-hour pay comes on top: a Sundair FO advert (BER, closed) says base salary covers 65 block hours plus allowances, with 70 EUR per block hour from the 65th hour and 105 EUR from the 80th, plus a minimum monthly guarantee; ReadyForTakeoff instead lists tiered rates starting above 45 block hours, so the thresholds differ between sources.
