No pilot vacancy is posted on Plus Ultra's own employment page; it takes CVs by email and lists other jobs on InfoJobs. The airline still operates (all-A330 long-haul from Madrid). In Dec 2025 police searched the head office in a money-laundering probe, and in Oct 2026 Ávoris (owner of Iberojet) was in early talks to take Plus Ultra over; no deal signed.
Pay
Figures are the 2026 column (1 Feb 2026 - 31 Jan 2027) of the salary tables in Art. 17.2.1 of the Primer Convenio Colectivo de Pilotos de Plus Ultra (BOCM 14 Jun 2025). The 2025 and 2026 columns apply a 5% yearly rise and are a floor: if CPI is higher, the higher rise applies (Art. 17.1.4). Annual salary = base plus fixed pluses, paid in 12 monthly instalments. Copilots have 3 levels and Captains 4 (1, 1 Bis, 2, 3); new pilots start at the lowest level, and FOs with more than 2 years' seniority moved to level 2. On top: flight-hour pay for every hour above 65 per month (2026: EUR 136.93/h CPT, 86.22/h FO), positioning counted at 25%, plus per diems and instructor pay.

- Allowances
- Flight hours above 65/month (Art. 17.2.2), 2024/2025/2026: Captain EUR 124.20 / 130.41 / 136.93 per hour; Copilot EUR 78.20 / 82.11 / 86.22 per hour. Per diems (Art. 17.3.3), 2026: international with overnight 121.03, international without overnight 87.58, domestic with overnight 70.67, domestic without overnight 47.77. Instructor pay (Art. 17.3.4), 2026: TRE/SFE sim 132.30/h, TRI/SFI sim 105.84/h, line check per sector 184.82 (<5 h) or 317.52 (>5 h), ground instruction 39.69/h.
- Roster
- 96 days off per year and 30 calendar days' leave (Art. 19.1). Fixed rosters carry 8 untouchable days off per month, 4 of them requestable; reserve ('incidencias') rosters carry 4 fixed days off plus up to 4 requested (Art. 23). If a fixed roster is cut by more than 10% of monthly hours for company reasons, 100% of the planned pay is kept (Art. 23.2). Long-haul only, with augmented crews on long sectors.

- Benefits
- Staff tickets for the pilot, family up to third degree and up to three nominated people, rising with seniority (Art. 20). Company pays licence and rating maintenance costs (Art. 10.1.6, 17.1.1). If a licence is suspended, the contract and fixed pay are kept for two months (Art. 10.1).
