Still operating in 2026 after heavy cuts in 2023-24 (787s and E190s retired, many international routes dropped, head office moved to Ho Chi Minh City). Founder FLC took back control in 2025. Fleet was 8 narrowbodies in Dec 2025, with a target of adding 8-10 aircraft a year up to 30. In Mar 2026 it renewed an MPL cadet partnership with BAA Training Vietnam; the next cohort waits for approval. It plans to hire 1,000 cabin crew in 2026. No open pilot vacancy was found on an official or agency page.

Local contract
No current pay figure by rank was found for Vietnamese pilots. Before launch (Jun 2018), a Bamboo representative told Bao Phap Luat that average pilot pay under its approved salary table would be above VND 200 million per person per month (over VND 2.4 billion a year), across all ranks. That was a projection from before the 2023-24 restructuring, so it is not used as a rank figure. In 2019, Bamboo offered some recruits from other airlines up to 1.5 times their old pay (VietTimes, Apr 2019). USD figures for expat-style pay come from a crowd-sourced wiki (2020-2023); see expat.

Base: FO basic USD 2,900 plus USD 25/hr up to 75 hrs, 32.5/hr above, USD 15 per sector; captain basic USD 4,200 plus USD 55/hr up to 75 hrs, 71.5/hr above, USD 30 per sector (entry dated 2 Jan 2023). Top of scale: FO USD 3,600, captain USD 5,600 (dated 30 Jul 2020). The site does not say whether these are expat or local rates, but they are in USD. Treat them as indicative only. In 2023, foreign pilots were paid late and in part (35% of a month's pay in Aug 2023), and about 30 left in two months (Reuters via RFA, Sep 2023).

- No bond terms found. Cadets are trained through the MPL programme with BAA Training Vietnam, with a promise of a job after graduation.

- CAAV-recognised CPL with frozen ATPL, Class 1 medical, ICAO English Level 4+

- A closed rated-FO advert asked for age 18-40, IR, MCC and jet familiarisation certificates, and training at a CAAV-recognised FTO/ATO.
